Mission Statement
To help people get back to basics for better health. These dry
food mixes contain just your basic ingredients, and they provide you
a huge head start to make baking from scratch easy and fun for the
whole family.
How The Business was Born
God blessed me with the passion for baking and cooking ever since I can remember. He also blessed me with organizational and efficiency skills. Over the years as I came across my favorite recipes, I would make up mixes in advance to save me time the next time I wanted to make them. He also knew of my dream that some day I wanted to run my own business.
So one summer day in 2007 while I was mowing my lawn in the back
yard, God very clearly told me that I need to make these mixes for
other people so that they too can be on the road to better health.
WOW! How awesome is that. I couldn’t help but cry while I finished
mowing my lawn. I love when I hear Him so clearly. I spent the next
year praying about decisions I had to make, gathering information,
getting licenses and permits, creating all of the labels and
business cards, deciding on packaging, and locating a commercial
kitchen. God continually put people in my path to help me get all of
this preparation work done. I opened for business on August 8, 2008
(08-08-08). That is how it all got started.
I reference the scripture “Taste and see that the Lord is good…”
(Psalm 34:8) on my packaging, signs and business cards. When He
speaks to us, it’s just another example of how the Lord is so good
to us. When He gives us favor, it compels us to spread it around.
This business is not just about selling mixes, it’s about sharing
the joy of all the gifts He gives us every day of our lives.
How I Operate
I rent space in a commercial kitchen, and measure the ingredients individually for each mix by hand. The mixes are sealed, packaged and labeled by hand as well. Quality, cleanliness and integrity are very important characteristics to me. I uphold them to the best of my abilities in every aspect of my life. I welcome suggestions for new mixes. I also welcome input from my customers who would like to test new mixes for me. As a Christian, I have learned that we can’t do it all ourselves, and God doesn‘t expect us to. So I encourage help in growing this business to benefit all of us.
May God Bless You in Health, Peace and Prosperity,
Michelle Philpot
